HAE FREETOURING AROLLA mit Bergführer Rinaldo

FREETOURING 4 days

AROLLA VAL D HERENS

15 TO 18 JANUARY 2026

The Val d'Hérens is a valley that takes its time. Few lifts, little crowds, and plenty of space for long descents. This is where this free touring camp comes in. Four days on the snow, led by mountain guide and snow sports instructor Rinaldo Borra , who has known the region and its lines for many years.

The area around Arolla, Evolène, and La Sage offers a wide variety of terrain with varying aspects. The combination of lift access in the Magic Pass area and shorter skinning ascents allows for numerous high-quality powder runs. At the same time, there is ample time for technique, safety, and consciously reading the terrain.

The first day is dedicated to getting used to skiing and working on technique both on and off-piste. The following days are reserved for powder skiing. Two-hour ascents lead to descents that can be long, challenging, and demanding. This camp is designed for experienced skiers with experience on steep slopes and varying snow conditions.

You'll be staying in a simple hotel in Arolla with half-board. The days are long and intense, the atmosphere in the valley calm and clear. Ideal for focusing on the essentials: good riding, precise decisions, and genuine free touring days.
