HAE Splitboard Group Kurs

Pre-season camp splitboard group

Engelberg

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12 TO SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2025

Winter doesn't begin with the first powder day, but with knowing how to get there safely. The Pre Season Camp Splitboard Group in Engelberg offers you the perfect introduction to the new touring season. Together with the Engelberg Mountain Guides and our team buddy Julian Fürsinger, you will spend three intensive days in the snow, combining theory and practice.

This camp is aimed at beginners and enthusiasts with solid snowboarding technique on the slopes and the fitness to climb 600 to 800 meters in altitude. Splitboarding experience is not required. The aim is to prepare you for the season, refresh your knowledge, and teach you the most important basics of ski touring.

The course covers avalanche prevention, avalanche rescue, tour planning, ascent and descent techniques, and basic alpine skills. On the third day, you will put what you have learned into practice on a longer tour, which you will plan and lead together. This will give you confidence, trust, and the feeling of being able to navigate independently.
