Our new upcycling line is popular, and demand is high. And that's a good thing. Because it shows: people want products with meaning. But our raw material is becoming scarce.
That's why we're asking you: Do you have a climbing rope that has done its job on the rock? Then give it to us – we'll give it a second life – in the form of a belt, key chain, or gear loop.

How “The Second Line” is created
The products are manufactured directly by us in Visp – with genuine craftsmanship, and the respect that every used rope deserves. We follow a structured, fair, and well-thought-out process:
Delivery & Rope Acceptance
The used climbing ropes arrive at our facility. We inspect each one – for origin, condition, and character.
Cleaning & Drying
Each rope is thoroughly cleaned and air-dried – without chemicals, gently and environmentally friendly.
Sorting & Storage
We sort by color, diameter, and structure to create specific designs later. Some ropes are special – and are reserved for unique pieces.
Cutting & Preparation
The rope is cut to the appropriate length, and the ends are welded or carefully processed.
Sewing, Screwing, Shaping
In our office, each piece is assembled – depending on the product, with robust seams, metal parts, or clips. We pay attention to function and aesthetics.
Quality Control & Packaging
Before a piece of "The Second Line" leaves our premises, we hand-check everything again. Then it is lovingly packaged and shipped.
