Two days that will take you deeper into the ice. The Chixxs 2-Day Basic Ice Climbing Course is the next step after the introductory day and is aimed at women who want to learn ice climbing from the ground up. Together with Chixxs on board and mountain guide Sigi, you'll spend an intensive weekend in the Bernese Oberland dedicated entirely to the ice experience.
You'll learn how to move safely on ice, set up belays, place safety devices, and gain confidence in your technique. From the basics of rope technique to your first routes on top rope or lead, the focus is on independent, conscious climbing. Step by step, you'll develop routine, confidence, and a new feel for the vertical world of ice.
This basic course is perfect for beginners with climbing and belaying experience who want to expand their knowledge and build a solid foundation for their own ice climbing trips. The group is small, the learning is intensive, and the atmosphere is characterized by mutual support and enthusiasm for what they achieve together.
