Chixxs X HAE Splitboard/Ski Touring Camp

Four days spent in the Valais mountains. Snow under the skins, silence in the mind, a group of women seeking the same thing as you: freedom, knowledge, and self-confidence in the mountains.

Together with Chixxs on Board and mountain guide Sigi, you will spend four days on the Wasenalp , where touring experience and training merge seamlessly.

This tour is designed for women with experience on skis or splitboards who want to consolidate and deepen their skills. In a safe environment, you'll learn to plan tours independently, accurately assess avalanche risks, and navigate the terrain with confidence. You'll gain insights into avalanche science, snow analysis, emergency management, and route selection. Between ascents, descents, and training sessions, there will be time for camaraderie, reflection, and simply the joy of being outdoors.

The days are moderate, but challenging enough to push you forward. Up to 1000 meters of elevation gain per day, about four hours of climbing, and many moments that remind you why you go to the mountains.

Requirements

You already have experience skiing or splitboarding, move confidently in varied terrain, and are comfortable with ascents of up to 1000 meters. Deep snow is not a foreign concept to you, but rather a pleasure.

Accommodation

Overnight stay at the Wasenalp mountain inn with half board. Multi-bed rooms with bed linen, towels and a delicious dinner in a cozy atmosphere.

Equipment

Own ski or splitboard equipment including skins and crampons, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and weatherproof clothing as per packing list.
