This unique wool is produced in Valais, a region known for its breathtaking mountains and charming Valais Blacknose Sheep. The natural, unbleached wool of these robust animals offers authentic warmth and comfort, ideal for colder days.
The Chlunschi Blacknose Sheep Natural impresses with its combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern demands. The dense, resilient wool of the Valais Blacknose sheep provides excellent insulation. This ball of wool is perfect for crocheting or knitting beanies, neck warmers and headbands. Although the wool is rather rough, it is characterized by its robustness and durability. Many of our customers choose to provide their knitted products with a soft lining such as polar fleece.
An accessory with alpine heritage
In addition to the finished products made from the wool of the Valais Blacknose sheep, we also offer our own Chlunschini. Each ball weighs 50 grams and is approximately 120 meters long. The manufacturing process for these Chlunschini is complex and guarantees the highest quality and sustainability:
- Raw wool from Valais Blacknose sheep
- Processing into 1kg cones in a weaving mill in Graubünden
- Further processed into individual balls of wool here in Visp
- Label printed on recycled paper in Visp

War ein Geschenk für einen Freund und wurde schon ausgiebig in der Kletterhalle getestet. Grösse fällt normal aus. Der feste und robuste Stoff ist gleichzeitig super elastisch und macht jede Bewegung mit. Sie sieht auch top als Alltagshose aus. Sehr gelungen! :-)
Ich habe ab und zu Mühe mit Merino. Es kratzt, gerade wenn ich schwitze. Dieser Merino-Fleece ist aber super angenehm zu tragen!

Gestern erhalten und die Hosen sind auf den ersten Blick top und fühlen sich richtig gut an. Hab schnell meinen Balkon geklettert und sind super elastisch, gute Bewegungsfreiheit :D
Das Chlunschi-Set hat mich farblich inspiriert und ich häkle aktuell eine Wetterdecke - jeden Tag eine Linie je nach Temperatur und Wetter eine andere Farbe ;) Die Wolle ist sehr angenehm und hat echt schöne Farben. Kann ich also sehr empfehlen - für Mützen, Schals, Stirnbänder und viele weitere Projekte.
Ich freue mich bereits jetzt auf den Winter, um das Stirnband zu tragen. Es ist super flauschig und warm.
Ein mega cooles Cap, das sowohl für für den Sport als auch im Alltag gut aussieht und funktioniert. Das "Dach" ist relativ lang und steif. Das hat Vor- Nachteile:
Vorteile:
+ guter Sonnenschutz
+ Man kann das "Dach" formen, wie es einem gefällt.
Nachteile:
- Schränkt die Sicht mehr ein als kürzere "Dächer"
- man kann es nicht so klein zusammenknüllen, weil es steif ist.
Alles in allem aber mein neues Lieblingscap für alles! :)
