HAE Winter Courses and Tour Camps at a Glance

HAE Winterkurse und Tourencamps 2026

It always begins the same way. With the first breath of cold mountain air. With the moment you feel the world outside slowing down and your own thinking becoming clearer. That's precisely where HAE originated. Many brands talk about the Alps. We come from there. But to truly get to know the Alps, you have to experience them, not just talk about them.

Why HAE wants to bring people to the mountains

Our headwear was born out of this reality. Not as an accessory, but as protection for long days outdoors. Against the wind. Against the cold. Good beanies and neckwear extend the time spent outside. They create space for experiences that are closer, more authentic, and more formative.

When we offer events with mountain guides and partners today, it's not about explaining products. It's about giving people the opportunity to experience what our brand is made of. The blend of stillness and focus when moving through the terrain. The anticipation before a descent. The feeling of independence when you suddenly understand why that slope probably shouldn't be traversed and you take the longer route.

Some who come to HAE know the mountains from afar. Others spend every weekend there. What's crucial is that everyone is looking for something in common. Orientation. Connection. An experience that transcends a fleeting social media moment. The mountains give that back when you give them time.

That's why we work with people who know these places. Mountain guides who take responsibility and pass on their knowledge. Some are seasoned team riders, others are local legends. Some are dedicated to empowering women so they can confidently make decisions in the mountains. Crews that seek out routes, not attention.

Our events aren't a program. They're an invitation.
An invitation not just to see the Alps, but to experience them.
An invitation to write your own story outdoors.

And maybe it all starts with a hat.
But it ends where it truly matters. Outdoors. With cold fingers, a warm head, and the feeling that you've just experienced something that will last.

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions about Winter Offers

Why does HAE even offer mountain sports events?

Because our brand stems from alpine experiences, and we don't want to convey them in an abstract way. People should experience the Alps where our products fulfill their purpose: outdoors, in the snow, in the ice, in the terrain.

Does HAE conduct the courses themselves?

No. We deliberately work with partners who take responsibility and possess the necessary expertise. These include the Ausserberg Bietschhorn Alpine School, Chixxs on Board, and Engelberg Mountain Guides.

Can I participate in an event if I don't have much experience?

Yes. The overview is organized by skill level. There are several beginner options. Those starting out should ideally begin with the Pre-Season Camp, the introductory ski and splitboard course, or the ice climbing taster day.

Are the events mixed or for women only?

Some of the activities are open to everyone. The ice climbing events and the moderate ski touring days with Chixxs on Board are specifically aimed at women.

How do I find out if a course matches my skill level?

Each event has clear requirements. Your skiing or splitboarding technique, your stamina, and your confidence in the terrain are crucial. Those who are unsure should start with beginner-oriented courses and gradually build up their skills.

Does HAE take responsibility for safety?

No. The execution and safety-related responsibility lie entirely with the respective mountain guides and organizations. HAE facilitates and communicates the offers.

How does the registration process work?

Always contact the respective partner directly. HAE does not handle bookings. Each course page contains the relevant link or contact information.

Why does HAE work with these specific partners?

Because they are locally rooted, take responsibility seriously, and don't operate an experience industry. Their focus is on competence, safety, and honest access to the Alps. This aligns with our own approach.
